I have lived Kibworth Beauchamp since 2007 and Leicestershire since 1984. My background is in marketing and sales, with both private and public sectors.

I was  the Council Leader from 2019-2023 at the forefront of the Council's response to the pandemic crisis, ensuring that locally vital economic support was handed to out to qualifying businesses, as quickly as possible, and also ensured the Council worked closely with numerous local community groups to support local residents who needed help. Prior to this I was the Council deputy leader from 2013-19.
I have previously been involved in variety of voluntary community organisations such as Kibworth Scouts, Leicester Carers Centre, and also been a school governor at Robert Smyth and Welland Park. I am interested in family history, watching sports, visiting historic places.
