David has lived in Market Harborough since returning to the UK in 2021, after 21 years working in New Zealand and Australia. A Sussex native, he graduated from the University of Essex (1988) and now holds a senior global role with an international IT company. He has served in executive leadership posts across health, IT and educational publishing, delivering transformational change and operational improvements. Elected in May 2025, he serves as a County Councillor for Market Harborough West & Foxton. David is married with two teenage children who attend a local secondary school, and he has family in Oadby, Kibworth and Coalville. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, cycling, hill walking and photography, has an interest in history and architecture, supports animal welfare, and shares his home with Monty the dog and four cats - all brought back from New Zealand.
