Cllr Buddy Anderson has been representing the Great Bowden & Arden ward since May 2023. Buddy stated his main driver for getting involved with local government was to see younger people better represented in the community, and to make sure the District works for everyone. Subsequently, he was appointed Young Person's Champion for the Harborough District by the Cabinet.

In 2024 he was selected as Chair of Services and Communities Overview & Scrutiny Panel.

Buddy has been a Mortgage Professional for a decade, and therefore has a vested interest in the economy and national politics. He is also very passionate about Mental Health awareness and other causes close to his heart. He is a proud father and family man.
