I have lived in the Little Bowden Ward for almost 9 years with my wife and young family. Together we walk our dog around the local countryside and enjoy the amazing open spaces we have in and around Harborough. When I have any spare time I enjoy playing golf and spending time with family.
I moved to the area 20 years ago to begin teaching and I am a Science teacher in a local secondary school. Informing students on current topics within Science always leads to conversations about climate change and sustainable living. I am very passionate about protecting our open spaces and making sure that future developments incorporate the appropriate technology to reduce energy wastage during construction and occupancy as well as looking at the planning of mobility once completed (access to appropriate services and businesses).
Changes in the way that we shop, travel and access services have seen Harborough change over the past few years and it is important that we continue to attract businesses to build on our successes of generations past. Harborough is a fantastic place to live and work and I want to help ensure that for generations so come.
