Joshua Worrell was born in Leicester in 1990 and moved to the village 4 years ago. In that time he has been involved within the local community playing cricket for the village cricket team and becoming Broughton North Parish Councillor.

He lives in the village with his wife Lauren, daughter Edith and dog Vera. Joshua is a decorated Royal Navy veteran having served two deployments in the Gulf, but now works as a Property Manager developing sites for people with needs ranging from severe learning disabilities to acute mental health. In his spare time, Joshua enjoys walking his dog and spending time with his family.
