I have lived in Broughton Astley since 1988. I am married to Julie who is a Visually Impaired Specialist Teacher with two grown up children who went through the schools here. I am a Chartered Engineer and work for Rolls-Royce plc as a engineer'/technologist specialising in lasers. I have been a Parish Councillor for over 20 years and chair of Parish for 12 years. I enjoy running skiing, sailing and cycling. I am very active in the community through the Broughton Alive community group who organise events such as the Summer Carnival, Christmas Fayre and others.
