Biography:

Councillor Buddy Anderson has been representing the Great Bowden & Arden ward since May 2023, and was later elected as Vice Chairman of Harborough District Council for 2025/26 by his peers.

 

Cllr Anderson stated his main driver for getting into local politics was to see younger people better represented in his community, and to make sure the District works for everyone. Subsequently, he was appointed Young Person's Champion for the Harborough District by the Cabinet. He has also served as Chair of Services and Communities Overview & Scrutiny Panel since 2024.

 

Outside of local government Buddy has been employed as a Mortgage Professional for over a decade. He is an extremely proud father and family man.
